Tea for Constipation

1 part marshmallow root 1 part licorice root
2 parts psyllium seed 1/4 part orange peel
4 parts fennel seed 1/2 part cinnamon
2 parts spearmint a pinch of stevia

 

  1. Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, simmer 1 teaspoon herb mixture in 1 cup boiling water for 20 minutes.
  3. Strain and allow to cool.
  4. Administer 1/8 - 1/2 cup tea with meals or as often as needed.

 

If constipation persists, add 1/8 part senna pod or leaf to the recipe. (for adults only, TW)
